Ball Stacks
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Your tower of balls is wobbling. So is theirs. Only one of you gets to be the tallest.
Ball Stacks is a local-multiplayer physics party game for 2–4 players, made in 48 hours for a game jam themed "Height" — so naturally, the whole game is about desperately clinging to yours.
How it works
- Stack — roll into balls to add them to your tower. Taller is better. Taller is also wobblier.
- Balance — your stack is fully physics-driven. Every ball you add makes it harder to keep standing.
- Sabotage — bumping into your rivals' stacks is not just allowed, it's the strategy.
- Survive — if your stack topples, you rebuild from scratch. When the timer runs out, the tallest tower wins.
Controls
🎮 Controller only — and here's the twist: two players share one gamepad. One player gets the left half, the other gets the right. 4 players = 2 controllers = maximum elbow warfare.
- Left-side player: move with the left stick, jump with anything else on your half (d-pad, LB/L1, LT/L2).
- Right-side player: move with the right stick, jump with anything else on your half (face buttons, RB/R1, RT/R2).
- Works with both Xbox and PlayStation controllers. Press any button to start.
Good to know
- Local multiplayer only — grab 1–3 friends and share a screen (and a controller).
- One arena, one mode, pure chaos. Every round plays out differently.
- Intentionally wobbly. The disasters are the point.
